Well.. well… it DID change ! I’ve done my tasks and got more rewards and experience, so right now I am a Fire Cif !

 I am level 8 😀 and I am going up, because I’ve still got more tasks to do 😉

It’s already Christmas and we’re already entering Christmas mode and letting the Holiday spirit envelop us. That’s why yesterday we were all like:  

“Dude.. why’s there no Christmas theme in cif2.net ?”
“Oh, no ! Christmaaas theme !” and I got to work.. now there are two @versions, it depends which one you like.

There’s a Red one (Coca Cola) and a Blue-ish one (Pepsi, right ?).

Do you know what the hardest part of creating the themes are ?

They are so cool, that I play with them instead of working on more. I did not expect this idea to be so simple and useful. You don’t need to make all sorts of changes to images, colors, etc.. just pick a new theme and it’s done. Complete redesign ! And it looks awesome 😀

Ooo-hoo ! Cif2 Themes are really a great idea 😀 the old templates really can’t compare themselves with these. 

We made some cool Christmas themes as well. It’s times like these when I’m happy we put so much work into it, because we can finally see it is all worth while !

And that is why there is much more need to express yourself nowadays, then it has ever been before.

Why ?

Because you can actually reach people ! You can actually get a lot of feedback and find out a lot of things that might help you in your career or in following your passions.

Seriously.

You can talk to people ! Use the power of Tweets, not only to share links to your blog or whatever, but to actually talk to people you find interesting. It’s not like you need a VIP status anymore or to have high connections, to be able to speak to an important person.

Here’s an example.

I was following this guy on @twitter. I saw that he had followers and such, no problem at that, but what did interest me was his RSS Agregator, Alltop.com. I found it really interesting and to be honest, extremely useful. I was curios how he stumbled upon the idea, so I asked him.

He told me it was made after another website and he gave me the link. Alltop was clearly a better version, though.

After a while, I found out that this guy is one of the most important people in Marketing and is also one of the biggest influencers and I was like: Oh, my.. really ? I tweeted that guy :)) (that guy made an Audi R8 as a  present to an employee) 

Oh, and btw.. that guy is Guy Kawasaki.

As I’ve typed before, the world is an open place ! You can just get there and talk to people 😀 Learn whatever you need. Of course, I don’t think ppl will answer stupid questions, so don’t boter too much with them or spam, but now you have the opportunity to actually speak to the biggest minds out there !

This is great 😀 The world has become an open place ! And you can take advantage of that.

Doesn’t it seem weird when you receive tips for making someone a website ?

hehe.. I’m not complaining, don’t get me wrong, but it’s really strange to see that someone actually pays you tips, because he likes how well he could work with you.

Clients don’t usually do that and in the last year, with all the economic crisis there have been lots of people who didn’t even pay for what they got, so this guy comes in and leaves tips.. that’s something 😛

It was a fishing equipments website, he owns the DAM.de shops in Romania. He came to Cluj to speak to me about this website and we made the concept together yesterday.

By tomorrow it will be finished and I think I’ll post it on the blog. 

hehe.. this is so cool 😀

We’re working and working to bring this online as soon as possible.

We’ve integrated the new interface elements, as well as the new Levels in cif2.net

And today when I checked out my blog, I saw that I reached Level 7 and I’m a New Cif ! 😀 hehe.. can’t wait to get to Fire Cif

oh, and yeah ! My blog changes a lot lately, because I’m still testing out the new “Cif2 Themes” module and I want to make sure it works 100%, after which I’ll just start designing some cool templates 😉

I only wish I’ll find some other designers to help me with that.

We’ve done some serious works on cif2.net to make it much friendlier and easier to use.

This last week, I’ve worked on designs for the Task Icon, the Rewards, the Themes and the language. I’ve designed new Level Icons !

There will be more categories of Levels, to provide a special and neat feeling to building your website or blog with cif2.net

There will also be a lot of other rewards, besides the ones from the tasks you complete and also: There are Cif2 Themes !

We’ve put the system online, now all we have to do is make some cool new themes.

Today was really cool 😀

I managed to finally organize all of my stuff on my new worktop. It made me feel really good, becuase I’ve wanted to do this for a lot of time 😉

I had to organize projects I’ve worked on from 2003 to 2010. I didn’t know that I made so many things until now and was also surprised to see I had so many 3d models made by me until now. Also the domains are quite wide, Game design, 3d Artwork, Animation, Film Making, Web Design, Logo Design, Signaure Designs, Tutorials, Posters, Presentations in Flash and Powerpoint, Flash Apps, Educational Software, a Documentary, Literature, etc.

Anyway, after finishing all this, I began working on the new design for cifnet.ro, because we want to raise even more money for the cif2.net project and that would be a good way to do it.

I was not satisfied at all with how it had gone in the last session of design, but I’ve simply surprised myself today and I’m finally starting to make designs on a whole new level. Now I can trully say that I have an eye for designs.

The way it turned out is awesome and I can’t wait to work some more on it 😀
